Intro to Poetry, Day 5: “imperfect”

I recently started a 10-day #introtopoetry course, courtesy of WordPress. (You can sign up too.) My fifth assignment is “imperfect” and the literary device is limerick.

There once was a girl who detested mess
Mistakes and flaws she liked even less
But when she grew up
She discovered the pub
And now greets blunders with a grand hiccough.
