Who’s the most important person in your life — and how
would your day-to-day existence be different without them?
Wake up in the morning to tea for one (which I make myself)
The dreary drudge upon awakening would linger the day, with no warm arms to unfold and envelope me from the grime of my internal monologue.
No blue headed lizards in a foreign land
No tastes of soups and nuts and coriander
There would be no dogs to love, no books to challenge, no stories to guide me.
Lunches would be fast and colourless, dinners would be white and in front of the TV (more so that now).
In short, the day to day would be no life at all, just half a life, with half the books, and none of the joy.
