Weekly Photo Challenge: Delicate

Small Houses and Other Delicate Things

When we went to Jeju island in South Korea, we visited the island’s erotic theme park called Love Land. Korea is quite a conservative country, so to find a large park entirely dedicated to Eros was fascinating and unexpected. The photos I took of the clay models of traditional Korean houses and the naughty residents fit this challenge, and I also managed to capture an unfortunately out of focus image of a spider in its delicate web. The pictures aren’t the best at all, but they make me smile. The clay dioramas are intricate and crafted by an artist with delicate hands. Enjoy.

“Delicate” by Damien Rice.

So why do you fill my sorrow
With the words you’ve borrowed
From the only place you’ve known
And why do you sing Hallelujah
If it means nothing to you
Why do you sing with me at all?
