Somber solitude suffices

Somber solitude suffices

To harden a heavy heart

Like tears harden with years

Crystals of regret

Blood diamonds to beget

Veins devoid of life

As the stealth steals forward

The weak remains untouched

Unnoticed as such

No rhyme of mine

Can fill the void

Can mend the wall

Restore the calm

Only tempests of my

Own diffused passion

Aid to obliterate

And I ask myself every day

Why do I still

Attempt my hand to write?
